Penn Waste increase on January 1

We have been notified by Penn Waste that effective January 1, 2023, disposal rates at the York County Resource Recovery Facility (York Incinerator) are increasing $2.00/ton.  As a result of this increase,    

            Penn Waste will increase its quarterly rate.  New rates are listed below:

    •             4 bag (container) service = $88.70 per quarter 
    •             8 bag (container) service = $106.34 per quarter 
    •             Pay per bag will not be increased.

The following trash service items are available at the Township office:

  • Orange Pay per Bag trash bags are $8.50 each
  • 33 gallon recycle cans are $4.00 each
