All levels of government rely on taxes to pay for services provided to residents. Your Township provides year-round maintenance and administrative services, equipment and material purchases to keep the Township functioning. County and Township property taxes are combined on one bill and mailed in February of each year. Millage rates for the year 2025 are: 0.21 mils-Warrington Township tax; 6.9 mils-York County tax. (Multiply the rate of assessment on your tax bill times .00021 to figure your Township tax.) The millage rate for Northern School District for the 2024-2025 school year was 20.1337 mils.
Taxes must be paid to the elected Tax Collector for Warrington Township. The Township office cannot accept payment. Collection dates are posted on the information sheet sent with the tax bill. If you do not receive a bill, it is your responsibility to contact the appropriate office or the tax collector. If your taxes are escrowed, it is your responsibility to forward a copy to your mortgage company for payment.
